01 about me
who am I?
My name is Emily Kane! I'm a 26 year old artist born in nj but living in Towson MD. I worked hard to receive my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Animation / Illustration as well as a Minor in Psychology from Montclair State University. I spent some time working in short form animation production as well as dipping my toes into some other fields like screen printing and apparel production! Currently I'm opening up commissions as well as starting my career as a teacher to spread the love of art!
Everything on this site was illustrated, photographed, and edited by yours truly! Some of the work you will see were made for class assignments, commissions, for a company, and my own passion projects.

I’ve loved the arts my whole life. I am fortunate enough to have prominent artists on both my Mother’s and Father’s side of my family. They push me to be better than I am every day. I am driven to succeed and learn new skills, as well as improve the skills I already have.

Foundations
Although my time in Rochester was short I spend every day and all of my spare minute developing my skills further. I focused on traditional media, anatomy, and lighting a long side all other foundations within the arts. My time here is pivotal in solidifying my love and passion for the arts and further pushed me to pursue a career and life within this field
2019-2022
Montclair state university
Motivation
when I transferred to Montclair State University in 2019 I learned more than anything I need to be motivated and determined to get to where I want to be. If you want something to happen then you have to make it happen. This also applies to the arts as well. Motivation and determination is a huge part of the creation of art.
